The 2025 Get Set Weekend is set to take place on 5-6 April.

The Get Set Weekend is designed to bring clubs and local communities closer together and ensure grounds and facilities are ready for the new season.

Clubs are encouraged to run a Get Set Weekend to get their facilities ready for the start of the 2025 cricket season.

What is the Get Set Weekend?

The Get Set Weekend has for many years been a pre-season focal point for clubs up and down the country.

The weekend is a fantastic opportunity to inspire new and existing volunteers to spend time at their local club, helping it to ‘get set’ for the upcoming season.

The Get Set Weekend is powered by The Cricket Collective; the volunteers who drive and deliver all areas of the sport. In 2022, over 20,000 people got involved across England and Wales, supporting their clubs and local communities.

Voting will take place on the following proposition:

-   Appointment of a new Club Secretary and Secretary of the Limited Company:
As defined by the Articles of Association of Clanfield Cricket Club Ltd and the associated Club Constitution, vacancies in Club Committee roles may only be filled by a resolution of the members.  As such, the Committee seeks confirmation from the members of their support for appointment of Matt Bradley as Club Secretary, replacing the outgoing Secretary, John Windebank, who has given notice of his resignation.
In accordance with clause 9.7 of the Articles of Association, the individual elected to the role of Secretary of the Club Committee will also fulfil the role of Secretary of the Limited Company.
