Clanfield Cricket Club was re-established in 1994, but there has been cricket at Clanfield for many years. The earliest photo we have (below) is from 1902. As Clanfield is just a stone's throw from Hambledon, known as the "cradle of cricket", we know cricket has actively been played in the area since 1750.
