History

Clanfield Cricket Club was re-established in 1994, but there has been cricket at Clanfield for many years.  The earliest photo we have (below) is from 1902, but Clanfield is just a stone's throw from Hambledon, known as the "cradle of cricket", and so we know cricket was actively played in the area since 1750.
